Claros Scribe
Your organisation's single source of truth.
Documentation decays the moment it's published. Scribe monitors your knowledge base for contradictions, coverage gaps, and staleness — then flags problems with specific excerpts and suggested fixes before they cause incidents.
Documentation is a liability disguised as an asset.
Your team wrote the docs. They were accurate when published. Since then, three processes changed, two tools were replaced, and one author left the company.
Nobody updated the docs. New hires follow outdated instructions. Two documents describe the same deployment process with contradictory steps. The team that owns the infrastructure doesn't know the operations team's documentation references a deprecated API endpoint.
This isn't a documentation discipline problem. It's a systems problem. Wikis store documents. They don't monitor whether those documents are still accurate, complete, or consistent with each other.
Step by step
How Scribe works
Ingest your documentation
Connect Confluence, SharePoint, or GitHub. Upload PDFs, DOCX, or markdown files. Scribe indexes everything, chunks documents for semantic search, and builds a structured map of what exists across teams and categories.
Continuous health monitoring
Every document is scored across four dimensions: coverage, freshness, fragility, and open issues. Scores roll up from individual documents to teams to the entire organisation.
AI contradiction detection
When a new document is ingested, Scribe compares it against peer documents in the same category. Only genuine factual conflicts are flagged — not scope differences or varying levels of detail. Conflicting excerpts are shown side by side.
Gap identification and remediation
Missing documentation is detected automatically when a team has no coverage for a category. For each gap, Scribe generates a structured markdown draft using category-specific templates enriched with references to relevant systems.
Context API
Every other Claros application queries Scribe's read-only API for organisational knowledge. Protocol uses it to ground runbook generation. Cortex uses it to inform AI advisor suggestions. The knowledge base becomes a shared resource, not a silo.

What Scribe can do
Capabilities
Document Health Dashboard
A composite health score computed from coverage, freshness, fragility, and open issues. Drill down from org-wide heatmaps to department-level to individual documents. Historical trend tracking with daily snapshots.
AI Contradiction Detection
Automatic comparison of new documents against peers using LLM analysis. Flags genuine factual conflicts with side-by-side excerpts. Filters out scope differences and detail variations.
Coverage Tracking
Every team and document category pair is monitored. Gaps are auto-detected when a team has no documentation for a category. Configurable staleness thresholds per category.
AI Document Skeleton Generator
For identified gaps, generates structured markdown drafts using category-specific templates. Automatically references relevant systems from your catalog. Draft quality improves as the knowledge base grows.
AI Duplicate Detection
Vector embeddings compare documents by semantic similarity. Near-identical pairs are flagged with recommended actions: merge, deprecate, or keep both.
System Catalog
A searchable inventory of your organisation's tools and systems with semantic search. Track integrations between systems. AI-suggested connections based on catalog analysis.
Context API
A read-only API consumed by all other Claros applications. Exposes organisational knowledge, systems, company context, and health metrics. Vector search endpoints with 5-minute caching.
Compliance Evidence Layer
Map documents to compliance controls with strength ratings. Control compliance status is automatically evaluated based on mapped document health. Freshness tracking with automated review cycle management.
The platform
Part of the Claros platform
Scribe is the context backbone. Every other Claros application builds on top of it.
Process maps captured in Cadence reference documentation in Scribe. When Scribe flags a stale document, related processes in Cadence are surfaced for review.
Protocol's AI authoring pulls organisational context from Scribe's knowledge base when generating runbook drafts. Compliance evidence in Protocol feeds back into Scribe's cross-product compliance dashboard.
Handoff briefs in Relay can reference knowledge base documents. Scribe's compliance dashboard includes Relay's handoff certification status.
Decision context in Arbiter draws from Scribe's knowledge base. Risk assessments feed into the cross-product compliance readiness score.
AI advisor suggestions in Cortex are grounded in Scribe's knowledge index. Documentation referenced in suggestions links back to Scribe.
Who uses Scribe
Built for
Knowledge Managers
Monitor documentation health across the entire organisation from a single dashboard. Identify which teams have gaps before those gaps cause problems.
Engineering Managers
Detect when technical documentation contradicts itself. Ensure deployment procedures, architecture docs, and onboarding guides stay consistent.
Compliance Officers
Map documentation to control frameworks. Track evidence freshness automatically. Export compliance packages for auditors.
Operations Teams
Maintain a living knowledge base that flags its own decay. Stop relying on people to remember which docs are outdated.
