Claros Cadence
See how work flows. Fix where it breaks.
Critical process knowledge lives in people's heads. Cadence captures it, maps it, and uses AI to find the bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities your team can't see from inside the process.
Your processes are invisible.
Ask five people on the same team how a process works. You'll get five different answers. The actual workflow — the steps, the tools, the handoffs, the waiting — exists only in the heads of the people who do it.
This is manageable at 10 people. At 50, it starts breaking. At 100, different departments reinvent the same process independently, nobody knows where time is being wasted, and when someone leaves, their replacement spends weeks reconstructing what should have been documented.
Process mapping tools exist. But they require someone to already know the process well enough to draw it. Cadence flips this: the people doing the work describe what they do, step by step, and the system builds the map.
Step by step
How Cadence works
Guided process capture
An AI-assisted flow walks each team member through documenting their workflows. Starting from job title and department, the AI suggests recurring tasks the person likely performs. For each selected task, it generates initial process steps. The employee refines, adds detail, and submits.
Step-level detail
Each process step captures: tools used, time spent, number of repetitions, wait time, dependencies, handoff recipients, pain points, and whether the step is manual. This granularity is what makes the AI analysis useful — it can't find bottlenecks without knowing where the time goes.
AI analysis
When a process is submitted, the AI performs a multi-layered analysis. It builds context from your tool catalog, company policies, knowledge base content, and what's already been tried. The output includes bottleneck identification with severity ratings, automation opportunities with time and cost impact estimates, quick wins implementable within a week, and strategic improvements requiring cross-team coordination.
Similarity clustering
Vector-based similarity search compares submitted processes across the entire organisation. Duplicates, variations, and dependencies are detected and clustered. The system tracks total headcount and time investment per cluster, showing where the organisation is spending the most effort on similar work.
Improvement tracking
Implemented improvements feed back into future analyses. The AI never re-suggests rejected approaches. It references proven improvements from other clusters when analysing similar processes.

What Cadence can do
Capabilities
AI-Assisted Process Capture
AI generates role-specific task suggestions and initial process steps. Employees refine rather than start from blank. Reduces documentation friction for people who aren't natural writers.
Multi-Layered AI Analysis
Bottleneck identification, redundancy detection, automation opportunities, quick wins, and strategic improvements. All recommendations reference tools already in your catalog and calibrate to the submitter's role.
Deep Dive Elaboration
Any AI finding can be expanded with a detailed drill-down: implementation steps, recommended tools, expected challenges, effort estimates. Actionable specifics, not generic advice.
Process Similarity & Clustering
Vector-based duplicate and variation detection across the organisation. Automatic grouping of related processes with headcount and time investment tracking per cluster.
Tool Catalog with Integration Intelligence
Searchable inventory of organisational tools with integration details. AI analyses the full catalog and suggests integration opportunities, missing tools, and automation chains. Visualised as an interactive node-link graph.
Process Templates
Reusable blueprints promoted from high-quality submitted processes. Semantic search suggests relevant templates as users describe their task. Usage and customisation tracking.
Knowledge Base with RAG
Organisational documents are chunked, embedded, and used as retrieval-augmented context during AI analysis. Recommendations are grounded in your actual documentation.
AI Adoption Tracking
Every suggestion interaction is logged with a structured diff: what the AI suggested vs. what the user accepted. Org-wide stats on acceptance rates, modification patterns, and adoption by feature type.
The platform
Part of the Claros platform
Cadence references documentation from Scribe's knowledge base during AI analysis. Process gaps identified in Cadence can trigger gap flags in Scribe.
Processes mapped in Cadence become candidates for executable runbooks in Protocol. The transition from "this is how it works" to "this is how it must be done" is a direct handoff.
Process ownership captured in Cadence feeds into Relay's handoff planning. When a process owner changes roles, Relay ensures the transition includes process context.
Strategic improvement recommendations from Cadence analysis can be structured as decisions in Arbiter for team evaluation and approval.
Process-related tasks surfaced in Cortex link back to the relevant Cadence process for context.
Who uses Cadence
Built for
Operations Managers
See where your team's time actually goes. Identify the processes consuming the most hours and get specific recommendations for reducing waste.
Engineering Leads
Map deployment, review, and incident response workflows. Find where handoffs break and where automation would have the highest impact.
Consultancies
Capture process knowledge from departing consultants before it walks out the door. Build a library of documented processes across client engagements.
Growing Teams
Document processes while the people who built them are still around. At 50 employees, this becomes urgent. At 100, it's too late to start.
